Organization, independence, and responsibility are important lessons in an elementary classroom, and I encourage students to be responsible for their own materials. An organized classroom is a successful classroom. Organization means more quality learning time. In my classroom, students sit at tables rather than desks. Individual seat sacks will allow students to have materials in their reach so we can move smoothly from one activity to another. Seat sacks are also an easy way for students to store books to read when they finish an activity early. Seat sacks on each student's chair will allow them to accomplish the goal of independence and responsibility.
