Learning in the 21st century is vastly different when much of the curriculum can be found online. Help me give this opportunity to my classroom by allowing me to purchase a small set of Chromebooks that we can share. Having Chromebooks in our classroom will make a world of difference to our classroom. It will allow me to create stations for students to rotate through as they learn math and hone their technological skills. They will be able to display their knowledge in multiple formats if they have access to Chromebooks and its programs. By having our own classroom set, I will be able to provide equity of access to my students. My students who do not have Internet or a computer at home will be able to complete assignments in the same manner as their peers and can learn accountability by using the internet to check their grades. On a related note, being able to purchase wiggle stools for my classroom will allow some much needed movement breaks for students without interrupting our learning. By having a seat that allows them to stand, wiggle and balance, they can learn better control of their body and impulses. They will also allow them get energy out in a respectful manner and focus more on the lessons in front of them. Thank you so much for helping my classroom be successful and offering us the opportunities to be enthusiastic and engaged learners.
