This carpet will be a great space for all my students to gather and become a community and family. This will also be a place for instruction and read aloud time! Students will each have their own spot on this carpet and this will create a calming, welcoming environment. As a first year teacher, I feel a classroom carpet has so many benefits and makes a classroom feel complete. The carpet time will also be used for morning meetings and a place where my students can get to know one another. I want my classroom to be a safe space for every student and this carpet will add to that atmosphere.
