The physical space creates an initial impact on our students. How can I make my students look forward to coming into our classroom every day? This is a question that I consistently ask myself not only before the school year starts, but throughout the year as well. By providing a variety of seating options, I am making my message clear to my students: You deserve to be here. Your needs are valued. Your comfort is important.
