This year we are focusing on "real world" experiences. There is a strong push to integrate technology in all that we do. Learning to code using the Dash and Dot Robotic kits will give my students an opportunity to acquire 21st-century skills in an environment that fosters individualized learning. This will allow them to get "hands on" experience the area of STEM at the middle school level in order to prepare for high school. The benefit of giving these students access to new technology and the opportunity to be creative while applying skills in science, engineering, and math will be immeasurable.
