I teach 30 enthusiastic first grade students who are eager to learn the skills needed to become good readers. Our school is a neighborhood K-6 school located in a diverse area of a large city. My students come from diverse backgrounds living with grandparents, single parents, and even adoptive parents. Providing my first graders with white (dry erase) boards will help to enhance their learning.
