In our classroom, there are students that are far below basic as well as high achievers. Our classroom is made up of english language learners, special needs, and high functioning students. Students sometimes feel inadequate because of their learning level and could affect their self-esteem. By adding an art component to their core curriculum, students will feel successful and have a sense of accomplishment. Everyone will be on the same level with their peers. Their art will be an expression of themselves as the material pertains to them. There will be 100% success rate. Since students come from humble beginnings, the aprons will serve as a means to protect their clothes. This will ensure protection against anything that may damage their clothes. Success for all students is essential in our classroom.
