My students are so excited each and every time they get to use math manipulatives and games in the classroom. We normally do math in the afternoons (after lunch) and the kids are much more restless, unfocused and disengaged the second half of the day. So anytime they get to use hands on materials they are always more engaged and sometimes I don't think they realize how much they are learning. We have a limited supply of such materials in my classroom and I just know that my students will greatly appreciate having more opportunities to explore math concepts with additional resources.
