My 20 students are Pre-K students in a public preschool which serves approximately 400 preschool students ages 3, 4, and 5. My students love to come to school! A significant portion of the day is spent in free-choice learning centers. "Center time" is a favorite part of my students' day. During this time the children can choose from a wide variety of activities including: Dramatic Play, Blocks, Dollhouse, Puzzles, Science, Play-Doh, Sand/Water, Computer, Writing, Reading, Art, Music, etc. Play is a child's work, and my students develop social-emotional, physical, and academic skills as they engage in independent and cooperative learning in the various centers.
