Last year, my students were engaged in leveled groups for reading. Those students who struggled the most moved a lot in their seats and could not focus on reading. The stability ball chairs will help the students be more comfortable and relaxed while reading with me and not sit in a hard chair for an extended time. Students who are in other activities will have flexible seating throughout the classroom. The stability wobble cushion will allow the students to select in-class library time and complete other centers in the classroom. The stability wobble cushions would bring maximum comfort during morning meeting time when all students are required to meet at the front of the classroom on the hard floor, which causes them to be uncomfortable and lose focus.
