Our middle school library needs more LGBTQA books! Out of 10,000 books, we have only approximately 25 LGBTQA books. We need more books to reflect our student population and I need your help to make that happen. I get minimal funds for books and am out of money for the year. I am new to this school library and am disappointed to see the lack of diversity in our library collection. I have identified a list of some award-winning, highly recommended LGBTQA fiction and non-fiction books to add to our library collection. These are school-appropriate, high interest middle school books. These books will be used in the library. I will also provide them for use by the LGBTQ Club on campus.
