In my classroom, I will provide many areas where the students can learn. My classroom will have desks that the students can sit in. It will also have a table with bar stools, if they would work better there. I also will be adding a reading center with the requested beanbag chairs, lounge chairs, and balance balls. Students can use these seating options for a comfortable place to complete work and learn. Students need to know that they can be responsible for their own learning. Choosing where to sit will help them stay engaged and able to actively listen to their teacher and their peers.
