My students are third graders from a title1 school where poverty is high and supplies are low. My students are eager to learn about the world around them and what better way than through reading. Third grade is the time to really start focusing on reading comprehension and understanding all the elements of reading. We start off everyday with reading and reading groups. They love to read but struggle with comprehension. My class lacks reading center activities and supplies.
