I have approximately 200 students a year. They are vibrant, inquisitive, thoughtful and expressive. We live in a small, quiet town rich in agriculture and southern traditions and pride. The average household income is $29,000. Art and music, although appreciated on a small scale, are not celebrated or enjoyed to their fullest. Art class is an opportunity for students to explore and experience worlds they, otherwise, know nothing about.
