I am a very proud NYC public school teacher and each year I am eager to expose my students to new and exciting learning opportunities. Being in NYC, I think it’s especially important to bring all of the arts and cultural to my students and sometimes for me to bring them to it! The challenges of this job are inevitable, but I work hard to share new experiences and opportunities with my students. This year I am teaching twenty five, inner city students who are motivated and eager to learn. I teach 5th grade students English, math, science, health, social studies, and character building attributes that I hope they'll take with them as they grow. My students are both general education, as well as special education, and ELL students. The classroom has a wide range of learning abilities and I am challenged on a daily basis to meet all of their needs. It is a challenge that I welcome and enjoy! Here’s to a new, exciting school year!
