I teach third grade (8 year olds) at a Title 1 school, which means that we have a large number of students that are economically challenged in the best of times, but even more so currently. My students are motivated, engaged, and curious learners. I titled my DonorsChoose project "21st Century Time Travelers" because if my students have the resources that they need, the places that they can go, and the things that they can learn, are endless. They will learn about the past, but more importantly, how they can make a difference in the days to come.

About my class
