My students in this US History/American Literature blended class are honors level students who attend a local public charter school. I would describe my school as an awesome location for students to get an alternative educational environment, where they apply content and skills taught at school to develop responses to real world situations and problems. This teaching/learning style is known as Project Based Learning. The students in my classes come to our school as a choice. What they do not choose is having limited funding compared to local traditional schools. Our students are some of the best in the area, and they deserve the best tools to help them learn and succeed!
