My students love to sing and to make music with instruments, but with so many students in the classroom at a time, it is a challenge to keep my classroom engaged and motivated to play with so few instruments. My biggest goal for this project is to provide quality instruments for every student in every class. Your contribution to this project will give my students the opportunity to play an instrument the entire duration of the class instead of rotating between several scholars. It will also give them the confidence to continuing playing music outside of school. My hope is that providing ukuleles for my students will inspire them to learn other instruments in the string family.
