Students don't always learn better by sitting at their desks. Some students need to be able to work in different spaces. These flexible seating options will allow students to move around the classroom sit. Sit in more comfortable spots, and work in a space that works best for them. The round circular cushions will be placed around a lowered rectangular table for students to work there or they can be moved around the classroom and used to work collaboratively in any spot around our classroom. The large cushion chair can be used in a similar fashion. I know these items will be so loved by my students. In the process of making better readers I hope for some of these items to encourage students to enjoy reading in a space that is more comfortable than their desks.
