My students vary in their understanding of mathematics. I need hands-on learning activities and games that are truly differentiated. I want my struggling students, strong math students, and every student in between, to learn in a fun way and have a deep understanding of math concepts. These games and activities have different tiered levels so that each child can learn and develop stronger number sense. Additionally, all of the activities I've chosen have a strong visual component which will allow students to really understand key math concepts. Math skills like regrouping, equivalent fractions, telling time, and counting money/making change are all skills that students seem to need more practice with. Also students need practice with even basic addition and subtraction fact fluency. These games and activities I'm asking for provide students with that practice and are engaging, hands-on, and fun!
