The Reading Lab is a great place for kids to reinforce reading goals. However, we are without means to get many of the necessary materials for the many projects we need. In the coming school year, we want to do more reading logs, accelerated reading tests, games, and fun activities. We hope to play games such as jeopardy and vocabulary bingo. However, without paper, dry erase boards, markers, and pencils, our classroom activities are stunted. We plan to use the paper to create more logs, more reinforcement activities, and assignments. The paddle boards and sticky notes allow individual student answers during games and classroom activities. The pencils, markers, and other writing materials are for students that do not have them. With these materials, our kids can continue to reach their reading goals but with the fun of games and competition to motivate them.
