I teach middle school Earth science and biological science in Southern Indiana. My eighth graders come into class each day to learn and grow up. I slow down the "growing up" as much as possible, but these kids can't be held back when they put their minds to something. They love science! Many of my kids' families face challenges some of us can't even imagine. They know what it means to persevere and we know they will succeed. Our school is labeled "high poverty" - but challenges are what we eat for LUNCH around here. So when it comes to school supplies, we find creative ways muster up the tools we need to complete our project-based learning units. It's hard to provide materials for nearly 150 awesome humans each day - so we need your help!
