I currently teach 7th grade life science to approximately 120 students. My school falls under title I; however, don't let that "label" fool you! My kids are diverse, intelligent, and eager to learn. My hope is to ignite a fire for learning in all of my students. I want them to recognize the importance of science, and how it impacts their daily lives. My classroom promotes learning for all students/abilities, encourages students to be free thinkers, facilitates independence and teamwork, while allowing for trial and error. It is my belief that every child should enjoy the learning process, and take ownership of their learning.
