Many of my students would like to learn sewing skills that will help them create and personalize clothing and accessories. It also provides an excellent example for the students of how the technology can help them become creative by allowing the speed and accuracy of a machine do some of the work. By donating to our project, your purchase of a sewing machine will help my students develop a practical skill that can help them save money in repairs to their clothing, allow them to create one of a kind pieces and explore a future career in the fiber arts. Some of my students dream of being fashion, interior and industrial designers, and many others would like to add to their base of handmade skills that would allow them to creatively express themselves whether it is to pursue artistic dreams or to provide a stress relieving hobby. Thank you for your support from the bottom of our heARTS!!!
