Our students deserve resources and materials that make a classroom feel comfortable and homey. In order to do that, I need your help! Please help my fourth grade classroom be more comfortable so my students will desire to come to class each day and feel safe. There has been much research on how flexible seating and a comfortable classroom can impact student success. Allowing students the opportunities and responsibility of choosing their own space to sit sets them up for academic autonomy and teaches them life lessons on how to be effective decision makers. Providing students with a clean, fun carpet will encourage social development during morning meeting time. The students have shown time and time again that they LOVE have fun chairs to sit in during independent reading times. Help our dream come true!
