I currently teach at a Charter school in a low-income area of California. 100% of our students are Latinos, and most are English Language Learners. Almost all of my students receive free breakfast, lunch, and dinner at school. My students are resilient, determined, curious and incredibly goofy. Our school's mission is College for Certain, so each classroom represents a different college, which the students embody by embracing our core values- Cooperation, Assertiveness, Responsibility, Empathy, and Self Control. My students inspire me daily, as they continue to overcome all challenges they face.

About my class
