The resources I've chosen are going to help my team because the cheerleaders need backpacks to carry their gear. Several of the girls have inquired if we would be getting bags this year but in addition to new uniforms, shoes, and camp it is impossible to depend on our current funds to take care of them. By having matching bags, the cheerleaders will literally coordinate from their bows to their toes. At competition, all the other teams are going to have a matching set of backpacks, just like other sports would have. Having matching backpacks, though simple, makes a team feel more "together." The backpacks will be used almost daily for practices and games. They will not be used for personal use. These backpacks are intended to last several years because they are the heavier duty athletic bags. By donating to this project, you are helping these girls look nice and represent their school with pride and style.
