I currently teach an amazing population in a Title I school. My fourth grade students are very engaged in learning. Currently we have a mixed class filled with gifted students as well as students that are above grade level. Their passion for learning is evident in all that they do. Having limited classroom resources makes the task of keeping them engaged and excited difficult. I would love to have the necessary resources to continually engage students in intimate student facilitated discussions and lessons through the use of carpet time with the students and myself sitting together discussing ideas and exploring new topics.
