Our students are highly motivated students. They come from a severely depressed economic area. My class is 60% free lunch. Most have large families with little resources. As a STEM school, we are focused on science, as well as technology, engineering and math. My job as their teacher is to expose them to as much as possible when they sit in my classroom. We have a large Hispanic population with students who have just learned English within the previous few years.

About my class
