I have been working hard to bring computer science education (an essential 21st Century skill) to our students. Our students want to learn to code and industry values workers with this skill! With these Chromebooks, students will be able to switch between hands-on unplugged introduction of concepts to plugged learning easily and effectively. Students will learn all about the internet, encryption, privacy, graphics, algorithms and programming logic. They will code apps and/or games. In addition, these laptops will allow students to come and get extra help where we can work on the laptops (not currently possible in the current setup).
