Hi! I left my aspiring career in Cancer Research in 2002 to teach high school science. The plan was to teach while I was pregnant to protect the baby from radiation that I used in cancer research and then go right back to the lab. Little did I know that I would fall in love with teaching and 12 years later- my "career" in cancer research has fallen by the wayside. I now teach AP Environmental Science, Genetics, Biology and occasionally Chemistry to High School Students. I also enjoy my 3 young sons and coordinating the STEM elementary outreach programs in the county. You can catch up with me and learn more about what I do and love at www.georgiastem.com
