We are so lucky in our school to have access to computers! However, our students often do not turn in their homework, or are not able to share their research with their classmates because they cannot print their work at home. I want my students to be able to print flyers to raise awareness about their service-learning projects so that they can maximize their impact on the community. Having a printer in the classroom will be a great equalizer for the students who cannot afford to have one at home. This project will help students to understand the importance of civic engagement!
