My 4th graders are beautiful, creative, resourceful, and hilarious! I love them with everything in me and I make sure they hear that from me daily. 100% of my babies receive free breakfast and lunch. Some days I have to meet their basic needs before I reach their academic demands. They fight many battles outside of school but consistently persevere and give me their best. Many of them are performing below grade level and we have a high population of students with special education needs. I always encourage their academic strengths so they begin to see themselves as having the ability to one day change their circumstances with their education. I want to change lives, and break down the walls of poverty for them and I believe donors like YOU can help! Our school is a fine arts magnet school. All students receive daily instruction in drama, art, music, and dance. The Arts promote creativity and confidence!
