My students will use these tablets during our acceleration time which focuses mainly on reading but the programs are based online. While I am working with half of my group, the other half can be working independently on Razz Kids, or Reading A-Z. We're very fortunate that our principal was able to purchase licenses for these programs and I've love for my students to be able to put them to use immediately. Every Minute of every day counts for our kids. Students will be able to move themselves forward using these programs while gaining confidence in reading and literacy. This is an area my students struggle in historically as second language learners. We need these tablets because the programs we have the licenses for are mainly internet based and we don't have the mobile (or classroom) technology for small groups such as mine to utilize such programs like Razz Kids and Reading A-Z.
