My seventh graders attend an urban middle school in California. The school is comprised mostly of students who are bussed in to the school from other neighborhoods around the city. Most of my students qualify for free or reduced lunch and don't have access to many supplies or resources, including books. Our school lacks proper technology, so not only would a document reader help with lessons, but it would introduce them to the world of technology. Additionally, some of my students are visually impaired. The ability to enlarge text for them would be invaluable.
