Since kindergarten children are so young, staying focused is often a challenge, especially since this is the first time many of them have been in a school setting. Wobble Chairs will help the children stay engaged in their learning. Being able to wiggle in their seat will allow them to satisfy their need to move. By providing flexible seating, I am creating a student-centered environment promoting success for all children. These Wobble Chairs will be predominately used during small-group guided reading instruction. During this time, students are exploring the world of literature and language around them. This is where students go from learning letters, to reading books.

About my class
