Midland Middle Chorus is composed of students from different backgrounds. Many students come to school for nothing more than breakfast and lunch, knowing that they will not have dinner that evening. We are a Title I school; which means the majority of our students qualify for free and reduced lunches, and come from economically disadvantaged households. I have hopes to provide them with love and support, and a tool to find joy in all of the struggles that come with everyday life. Students are eager to have a supportive place to come and learn. My passion is to help create that environment, and teach them to invite that atmosphere, for themselves. Part of a successful journey is finding the positive in situations where it is not easy to find the good. A piece of that is learning to share your strengths where others have weaknesses, and allowing others to help where they are able to assist.
