I teach in a self-contained AU2 classroom that serves students in grades 1-5, with limited communication skills. I utilize, and encourage my students to use, as many multisensory strategies as possible as these benefit retention and fluency. My students enjoy using our sensory room to reorganize during a busy day. They also enjoy exploring our school, and community.
