I will be teaching third grade for the first time this coming school year, and I couldn't be more excited! If there's one thing I've learned during my first 2 years of teaching, it's that kids need the chance to let their energy out! With bouncy bands for their desks, my students can move their feet and legs as much as they need to without being distracting to others! With wobble cushions, they can wiggle their torsos quietly while keeping their eyes on the task at hand and without skipping a beat. Personal dry erase boards make learning fun when we can all work math problems together, practice cursive writing and spelling words, and even write short stories while erasing quickly and easily while our creativity is flowing! I would love to be able to give my students what they need to be successful as well as items that make them feel comfortable and at ease in our room.
