I have the pleasure of teaching 2nd and 3rd graders in a self-contained autism class. Since I don't have children of my own, my students are my "kids" and I pour every ounce of energy I have into giving them the best learning experience every day. Our class of special learners may be small but there's always a lot going on! My students come to school eager to learn every day. Sometimes that can be hard when you struggle with reading and writing. All of my learners receive instruction at their ability level because each one of them needs help with something different.
