If I can't sit still at a desk all day, how can I expect my kids to? Wobble seats are chairs that allow a child to have motion when doing their daily work. Alternative seating allows students to develop physically, while growing intellectually. Who doesn't love moving and learning! Alternative seating is right for kindergarten for a number of reasons. It helps with attention span, which leads to higher academic achievement, gives students an active outlet without disrupting learning of themselves and others, helps students with ADHD and autism, and kids love the ability to have movement. Something as "insignificant" as seating, can make a difference in a child's desire to come to school and the love for learning and the classroom.
