I am hoping to gather the supplies necessary to provide my students with the best education possible and unfortunately that does not come cheap. By donating supplies to my classroom my students will be able to find success in their day to day activities. I will use the binders to keep their daily classwork and homework organized as well as use them to sort their jobs for literature circles. The notebooks will be used for taking notes on literary terms and creative writing bell work that will be assigned on a daily basis. The duct tape will be use to color coordinate their supplies and keep them organized by class period. It will also allow students to separate their notebook into sections. Dry erase markers and post it notes will be used to allow the students to participate in group discussions and post their answers in classroom rotations. These materials will allow students to learn organization skills that will help them be successful in their day to day lives and prepare them for a higher education. These materials will also create a classroom culture where all students are engaged and excited about learning. The students will also feel more successful by having all of their tools right there in the classroom and allow them to be prepared each day. I want to provide these deserving students with the materials necessary to be successful and I know that if they are given the right tools they will accomplish all that is put in front of them.
