My class is made up of eight students diagnosed with Autism and ADD/ADHD with limited to no language skills. Communicating their basic needs is a daily challenge. Autism does not define who they are or what they can do. They amaze me every single day with the obstacles they overcome. Many of them come from low income homes and live in a district with no art or music. These student thrive on art and music!
