This year I created a small work area that is comfortable and welcoming. My students immediately gravitate to it. It has become a popular spot for small groups to discuss project roles, a quiet area to read the latest novel, and a sanctuary for students needing a comfortable space to decompress. I want to give more students a chance to use the space more frequently. This space needs refurbishing and expansion by replacing the worn chairs, adding small tables, and creating a second space to give more students the opportunity to benefit from it. Funding my project will give my students the comfort they need to be more productive.

About my class
