This project includes hands-on, engaging, and interactive ways for my students to learn about mathematics, science, and social studies. My students are low level English learners who learn best by collaborating with peers to complete fun activities that provide a visual for them to better understand a topic. We talk about circuits in fourth grade, and it would be amazing if my students could learn about circuits hands-on, and not just through reading paragraphs in a textbook. Other tricky topics in fourth grade are fractions, decimals, angles and other forms of measurement. I included some fun fraction games in this project to help students learn about fractions in a more exciting manner. My students are all about visual examples and any opportunity to provide this for them would be greatly appreciated!
