I'm hoping to increase seating choices in my classroom by including the Alphabetter Stand-Up Desks. Currently, my students can choose between sitting on the floor at a shorter table, sitting at old fashioned desks, leaning over an old fashioned desk, and sitting on the floor or standing with clipboards. We spend a good amount of time trying each type of seating. Wouldn't it be great to have another option? Given these seating choices, students are able to determine how their bodies work best when they learn. Studies have shown that the more students can move while they work, the better they do. These desks will help my students with another way to learn and meet their potential. When students start school with a disability, closing the gap is a lifelong struggle. Why not give them a little help?
