My students are in first and second grade and range in age from 6-8 years old. They love to learn and be physically active. I have several students in my class that play sports after school, such as soccer, baseball, gymnastics, and football. We have been learning how exercise not only affects our performance on our team, but also our behavior and our performance at school. The more physically active we are the healthy our bodies and brains will be!
