Welcome! My name is Ms. Strassel and I am the full-time drama teacher at Goudy Technology Academy, a K to 8 Chicago Public School that borders the Uptown and Edgewater neighborhoods. Goudy is a special community in which 48 languages are spoken amongst the student body, a reflection of the diversity of the far north side of Chicago. I will be entering my 5th year teaching drama at Goudy. Drama allows students to build skills in expression, collaboration, communication, creative problem-solving, and empathy. It is an honor to spend my days with students from across the world in a joyful and imaginative learning environment. "Imagination is everything.
