Your contributions to DonorsChoose.org will impact my student's furture by providing them with much needed resources. My class is composed of 18 students. Six are Hispanic, six are African American and six are Caucasian. There are six girls and twelve boys. Three students receive ESL services and one student has special needs. Our school population is has transitioned to compose of 60% Free/Reduced lunch and 30% ELL. Over the last four years our end of year grade scores have dropped in math. Having mostly boys, has caused me to look at my students needs and attempt to make learning more exciting by incorporating movement through music and games across the curriculum. Although my students start Kindergarten with a love of reading and books, this is not the case with math. My goal is to make math exciting by using various tools and strategies as well as motivating parents to remain engaged in their child's learning
