My name is Jessica Tomberlin, and I am the media specialist at a K-5 elementary school. I have only been in the Media Center for a year. I am slowly but surely transforming our Media Center into the learning hub of our school. I want the Media Center to be a warm welcoming place where students can't wait until their next visit. I also want to create a 21st century Media Center where students and teachers can connect with others and expand their learning outside of the classroom. It is an ongoing process, and I am learning to take baby steps as I help foster a love a reading and learning in all 700 of my students.
